EBLC 2026 Draw

The draw for the groups for the European Box Lacrosse Championships 2026 was conducted on Monday 23rd February.

Women’s Competition

No draw as such as all seven nations will be playing a round robin format. The top four teams will progress to the semi-finals. The bottom three teams will have placing games. England, as the top seeds, based on 2024 Worlds placings, will be seeking a spot in the Semi Finals.

Men’s Competition

A new format for this championships sees the top 8 ranked teams from the 2024 Worlds placings drawn into two groups, Blue and Red. England, as top seeds, have been drawn to play Ireland, Finland and Netherlands in the group stage. The top two teams will progress to the Quarter Finals. The bottom two teams will have an additional ‘play-in’ game against a team from the Green and Yellow groups.

The 10 remaining lower ranked teams have been drawn in two groups, Green and Yellow. This includes Scotland and a first time appearance from Wales. Both these groups should be very competitive. The top two teams will face the bottom two teams from the Blue and Red groups in a play-in game to progress to the Quarter Finals.
