This covers the fundamentals, and is free, so what’s not to love about that. All content that follows builds upon the basics covered in this training course.
Goalkeeping
The most important playing position. You don’t need to run, but you need to move with precision and have lightning fast reactions.
Defence
Speed, physicality and teamwork are the cornerstones of a strong defence.
Offence
Arguably the hardest task is scoring goals. The combination of a smaller goal and fully padded goalie means there are only a few inches of net to aim for. Higher percentage shots are from close range, getting the goalie to move first and give you some net to aim at.
Transition
Most goals are scored when one team as a numbers advantage, if only for a few seconds. A fast transition into offence can give that brief numbers advantage. Even more important is the transition back into defence.
